Mandatory minicamp rolls on for the Texans, and Tuesday was an eventful day.
Following practice, quarterback C.J. Stroud and receivers Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs met with the media after Head Coach DeMeco Ryans. Optimism abounds right now, and the club is in its day or so of work before the big break prior to the start of training camp.
Stroud shared some of his high hopes for 2024, and likes the variety of weapons available on offense.
Diggs had a similar thought as Stroud, and worded his excitement about the 2024 offense a bit differently.
Andre Johnson gets inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 3, and his former head coach, Gary Kubiak will be the one presenting him. In addition to being a great coach, and even better dude, Kubiak is a gifted public speaker. I saw him firsthand speak to crowds (as well as at press conferences, which were/are a completely different exercise) and I've no doubt that his speech in Canton will be a sledgehammer of awesome.
