Texans running back Arian Foster has changed his number from 37 to 23. Foster wore 27 in college, but that number's already taken by running back Chris Henry. Twenty-three was last worn in Houston by cornerback Dunta Robinson, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons this offseason.
Toddrick Verdell, an undrafted rookie linebacker from Florida State in 2009, has changed from number 61 to 53.
