The National Football League said Wednesday they'll unveil the 2021 schedule on the NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL App at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday, May 12.
At the very same time, HoustonTexans.com will have the 2021 slate of games for the Texans.
Houston, like the rest of the NFL, will play 17 regular season games this year. They'll only play three preseason games: two on the road and one at home. The preseason schedule will also be announced on May 12. A 17th game was added by the League last month, and the Texans will be at home against the Carolina Panthers. In 2022 they'll play nine games on the road, and eight at home.
The Texans' 2021 opponents had a combined record of 137-135 in 2020, and eight games next season will happen versus playoff teams.
