Ohio Camping and Gary Kubiak gets honored | Daily Brew

Brewstingpick

It's the final practice of the week in Ohio this morning, and the Texans will head to Pittsburgh tomorrow. A Friday-nighter with the Steelers kicks off at 6 p.m. CT, and then they'll head back to Houston afterwards.

There was a lot happening yesterday, and Team Analyst/Radio Sideline Reporter John Harris captured it--before the tornado-warning storms rolled through--in his "Harris Hits".

If you've been reading the Harris Hits throughout camp, it seems he's had the details of a Derek Stingley, Jr. interception, or two, on an almost daily basis. The third-year cornerback has been a disruptive force, and Aaron Wilson dug a little deeper on #24 in this article.

We all saw former Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak on Saturday introducing Andre Johnson at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement cereonies (video below).

Next week, Kubiak will get honored by the Touchdown Club of Houston. It's a fitting tribute to Kubiak, and folks like Texans Head Coach DeMeco Ryans, former Texans Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips and 1989 Heisman Trophy Winner/Texans Radio Color Commentator Andre Ware will speak on his behalf.
