C.J. Stroud isn't just helping guide the Texans to victory. He's "shaping the future" of the NFL and "defining the next generation of leadership", according to Time Magazine.
The Texans quarterback, fresh off engineering a fourth quarter game-winning touchdown drive to beat the Jaguars, was selected to the 2024 Time100 Next list on Wednesday morning. The magazine compiled a list of 100 individuals who are changing their respective fields' futures and emerging as leaders for the next generation. Stroud, who turns 23 on Thursday, was selected after a 2023 rookie season in which he was one of the driving forces in turning the Texans from double-digit losers in the three previous seasons, to a playoff team.
The TIME100 Next issue hits newsstands in print on Friday, October 4.
