The Oakland Raiders selected University of Texas defensive tackle Lamarr Houston with the 44th overall pick of the draft. Some projections had the Texans targeting the big DT in the second or third round.
With the Denver Broncos now on the clock at pick No. 45, the Texans are only six picks away with their pick at 51.
Many in the media believe the Texans are looking for a running back at this spot. The only rusher to go off the board so far in the second round is Dexter McCluster of Ole Miss, who went to the Chiefs early in the round. Toby Gerhart of Stanford and Ben Tate of Auburn are some of the top backs still availalble.
