Rebuilding Together Houston

* HOUSTON* – Players, cheerleaders and staff from the Houston Texans and volunteer employees from Reliant Energy will make repairs to a Houston home on Saturday, June 24 in support of Rebuilding Together Houston.

The Texans and Reliant have supported Rebuilding Together Houston in the past, but this weekend marks the first time the two organizations will combine their efforts on an RTH project. The Houston Texans Foundation and Reliant Energy are providing both financial and volunteer support to the project.

Rebuilding Together Houston is a nonprofit organization that provides home-repair services for low-income, elderly or disabled Houston-area homeowners.

"The Texans are proud to work together with Reliant Energy on such an important project," said John Vidalin, Texans vice president of sales and marketing.  "The Houston Texans and Reliant Energy both support Rebuilding Together Houston and its efforts to improve the lives of Houstonians."

"We're proud to call Rebuilding Together Houston and the Houston Texans two of our most active and visible community partners," said Tracy Carmen-Jones, vice president of Reliant Energy Community Marketing. "The work we do in the community in support of and in partnership with both organizations supports Reliant Energy's core value of caring for the communities in which we live and work."
