Report: Jackson agrees to deal in time for camp

Texans first-round draft pick Kareem Jackson has **reached an agreement with the team** in time for training camp, per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle on Twitter. The 20th overall pick out of Alabama enters camp as a starting cornerback opposite second-year pro Glover Quin.

The Texans have yet to announce anything on Jackson or second-round pick Ben Tate, but McClain reports **they will be on the field** along with the rest of the Texans' draft picks at the team's first practice of camp, which starts in about 10 minutes and is where I'm heading as soon as I finish this post.

We'll have plenty on the rookies and any other news-worthy items as soon as practice is through.
