The Texans trailed for all but the final three minutes of their 21-20 win over Jacksonville until their fourth-quarter touchdown drive.
Tom Savage, who led the team on a no-huddle offensive series, started the drive at the Houston 48-yard line. After a four-yard pass to Ryan Griffin, Savage connected with Will Fuller V for a 10-yard completion. After a three-yard scramble by Savage and a pair of incompletions, a defensive pass interference call on cornerback Jalen Ramsey gave the Texans a new set of downs and possession at the Jacksonville 25-yard line.
Savage threw two short passes to Griffin and Lamar Miller on first and second down, respectively. Two plays later, another pass interference call would make it first-and-goal from the one-yard line.
Miller scored on the very next play for his sixth touchdown this season. The Texans took a 21-20 lead with 2:51 remaining in the game.
"We just needed one yard," Miller said. "The offensive line did a great job of just getting their guy in the end zone and I was trying to be decisive and tried to make a play for this team."
