"It's been crazy and it's been fun," Watt said Friday.
He was referring to the Summer of Watt, the one that officially ended Friday when veterans reported to Texans training camp.
After being unanimously voted as the NFL's 2014 Defensive Player of the Year, Watt had an on offseason that was well-chronicled through social media from meeting Jennifer Aniston to filming a commercial with UFC champion fighter Ronda Rousey to ending with him hitting homeruns at Minute Maid Park on Thursday during the Astros batting practice.
"It's been great but I realize it's all because of the work that has been put into this point so that's why every single day, the workouts come first," Watt said. "The training was never impeded by any of it and I think that's what's the most important to me. When I was out in L.A. for that whole week, my trainer was out there with me and I'm thankful to him for that. The reason I am where I am today is because of the work that's been put in and the reason I'm hopefully going to continue to have that success is because of the work that's continuing to be put in."
To summarize everything in the Summer of Watt would be impossible, so here are a few highlights.
