When the Texans hosted the Titans on Oct. 2, Will Fuller V became the first player in Texans history to score a receiving touchdown and a punt return touchdown in the same game.
After his first-quarter touchdown reception to give Houston a 14-0 lead, Fuller fielded just one punt, but it was highlight-reel worthy.
With the score tied 20-20 in the third quarter, Fuller and Tyler Ervin lined up for a punt return. Fuller fielded the kick at the Houston 33-yard line and then displayed his speed as he retuned it 67 yards for a touchdown. The Texans took the lead with 0:56 left in the third quarter and would win defeat Tennessee by a score of 27-20.
Fuller, in his fourth career NFL start, added seven passes for 81 yards in addition to the offensive touchdown. He is just the fourth NFL rookie in the past 15 years to score a punt return touchdown and receiving touchdown in the same game, joining Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin, Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton, and Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant.
