The Texans released a special video ahead of their Wild Card matchup with the Chargers, and it features Grammy-winning Christian rapper Lecrae.
Filmed recently in downtown Houston, the video integrates music with the story of the Texans 2024 season. Lecrae, who won a Grammy for the Best Gospel Album in 2013, is a Texans fan. He collaborated with the franchise earlier this year for a merchandise reveal, and is featured in the hype video for the playoffs.
It's the first time he's ever done a narration for a team, or acted in a video for a sports club.
The footage from training camp is layered to the beats of the song in the video, and a shorter version of it will be played in-stadium prior to kickoff against the Chargers on Saturday afternoon.
Lecrae has attended several Texans games over the years, and they're his favorite team.
