The Houston Texans announced their ticket prices for the 2017 season. The Texans' average general ticket price next season will be $103.69 per ticket, which is up 6.55 percent from $97.32 in 2016.
Houston's average ticket price in 2016 ranked 13th in the NFL and the Texans anticipate their position will be comparable in 2017.
"Houston Texans fans are a prime reason NRG Stadium has earned the reputation as one of the best gameday experiences in the National Football League for 15 consecutive seasons," said John Schriever, Texans Senior Vice President of Ticketing and Event Management. "With this year's pricing structure, our goal is to deliver an unrivaled and compelling fan experience as well as remain competitive on the field each and every gameday."
The Houston Texans have sold out 154 consecutive games at NRG Stadium, a Houston NFL record, and their 15 consecutive sold-out seasons represent the longest sellout streak of any professional sports team in Houston history. NRG Stadium has also been consistently recognized for having the best tailgating atmosphere in the NFL.
Houston's 2017 home schedule includes the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and division rivals Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.
Season Ticket Members enjoy a discount of at least 20 percent off individual game ticket prices. They also receive priority access to draft day party tickets and other exclusive fan experiences throughout the year.
