Texans get an offensive lineman in Round 6

The Texans drafted guard Shelley Smith in the sixth round (187th overall) out of Colorado State. He's the first offensive lineman in the Texans' 2010 draft class.

Smith (6-4, 300) was a three-year starter at Colorado State. He allowed only two quarterback hurries and finished with nearly 50 knockdown blocks in conference play alone as a senior in 2009, helping him to earn honorable mention All-Mountain West honors.

The Texans also have the 197th overall pick in the sixth round.
