The Houston Texans were recognized on March 26 with a Diversity in Business Award from the Houston Business Journal. The award recognizes "individuals and companies who have shown exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in business leadership and who bolster equality across all areas of diversity."
Vice President of Human Resources Anita Martin accepted the award on behalf of the Texans.
The Texans were one of 31 organizations recognized as an Outstanding Diverse Organization for an exceptional commitment to diversity practices.
