The Texans have eight picks in the 2021 NFL Draft. Houston will know exact overall picks after Compensatory selections are awarded.
A new general manager and head coach will be hired in the weeks ahead, and along with their personnel staff and team of assistants, they'll get set for the Draft, which begins Thursday, April 29.
Because of a 2019 trade with Miami, the Texans are without a first and second round choice. That deal netted them Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil and receiver Kenny Stills. Houston also picked up a sixth round selection from the Dolphins in that deal.
The trade with Arizona in the spring of 2020 saw the Texans add the Cardinals' fourth round pick for this year.
Houston added the Saints' sixth round pick this year, after a Draft Day trade with New Orleans in 2020.
The Texans own the third pick in rounds three through seven in 2021. They'll know the exact spot of each pick after the Compensatory picks are awarded in a few months.
