Texans re-sign Weary

* HOUSTON* – The Houston Texans announced today that they have re-signed unrestricted free agent Fred Weary. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Weary (6-4, 306) played in four games at right guard in 2005, starting all of them, and was inactive for 10 games. He came off a 2004 campaign where he played in two games with one start. As a rookie, he played in every game started a career-high 12 contests.

Selected in the third round (66th overall) by the Texans in the 2002 NFL Draft out of Tennessee, Weary has started 19 of 36 career games.
