- The Houston Texans announced today the signings of third-round draft pick RB Vernand Morency and fourth-round selection WR Jerome Mathis. Morency and Mathis are the fourth and fifth 2005 Texans draft picks to sign with the team.
Morency (5-9, 212) was taken by the Texans with the 73 rd overall pick in the 2005 draft from
