Texans sign Pendergrass

HOUSTON --The Texans signed free agent cornerback Jon Pendergrass Monday and released linebacker David Moretti.

Pendergrass was released by the Jets during training camp last year. He was originally signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on Apr. 25, 2002. Pendergrass played safety at Southern Illinois.
