Texans unofficial depth chart vs. Raiders

The Houston Texans (9-7) will open the postseason with a home game against the Oakland Raiders (12-4) in the AFC Wild Card round. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:35 p.m. CT on Saturday at NRG Stadium.

Houston closed the 2016 regular season with a 9-7 overall record, giving the team a winning record in three consecutive years for the first time in franchise history. The Texans also won their second straight AFC South title and fourth in the last six seasons, which is the fourth most in the NFL over that span.

Houston finished the 2016 campaign with the No. 1 overall defense for the first time in team history after allowing only 301.3 net yards per game. The Texans gave up 201.6 net passing yards per contest, which ranked second in the league.
