The Cyborg, The Terminator and Tank | Daily Brew

The Texans had Monday off and they're back at work a little later today, with a practice at 11 a.m. CT at the Houston Methodist Training Center.

They'll go tomorrow and Thursday, and then they'll not practice on Friday because they host the Giants on Saturday at noon for the preseason home opener.

We're in what feels like the final days of camp...but not totally. Two preseason games remain, and the roster trimming from 90 to 53 players doesn't happen until August 27.

A few days ago, defensive lineman Mario Edwards, Jr. called defensive end Danielle Hunter a "Cyborg" because he's a "machine". The Texans defense will have the "Cyborg" on one side of the front, and the "Terminator" Will Anderson, Jr. on the other side. Tyler Dunne profiled Anderson here.

John McClain wrote about Hunter and some other defensive linemen, and how they looked Friday night in Pittsburgh.

ESPN's Bill Barnwell took the 14 playoff teams from last season, and ranked their probabilities of returning to the postseason THIS year. You can read his thoughts on the Texans here.

"At any moment, I can make a play." Wide receiver Tank Dell looked good against the Steelers, and KPRC-2's Aaron Wilson shined the spotlight on the second-year pass-catcher here.
