Wide receiver Andre Johnson (ankle), tight end Owen Daniels (hamstring) and linebacker Xavier Adibi (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday. All three players sat out of practice on Wednesday as well.

It was no surprise when Johnson didn't practice Wednesday, but the four-time Pro Bowler normally does at least some work in practice on Thursdays.

"It is a little bit out of his routine, but we held him out again today and then we'll see where he's at tomorrow," Texans coach Gary Kubiak said. "The plan is still that he should be ready to go, but we just decided not to practice him today."

Kubiak said that Daniels will be a game-time decision on Sunday at Jacksonville. Daniels stayed in the training room during practice for the second consecutive day.

Full reps for SchaubQuarterback Matt Schaub (ribs) was a full participant in practice. He was limited on Wednesday.

"He's fine," Kubiak said. "He actually practiced lightly yesterday and took his full load today in practice and was very upbeat. He'll be OK."

'That's big-time'Running back Arian Foster has come quite a long way since going undrafted out of Tennessee in 2009. In his second NFL season, he leads the league in rushing yards (864), yards from scrimmage (1,179), touchdowns (10), first downs (51) and a slew of other categories

"(He has grown) a great deal, just the way he handles himself, the way he prepares to play, the way he practices and the way he works," Kubiak said. "He's leading the National Football League in yards from scrimmage. That's big-time. That's not good, that's big-time. That tells you what he's doing right now."
