Tyrod Taylor ran for another score.
On third-and-goal midway through the third quarter, the Texans' veteran quarterback scrambled to his left and dove just inside the pylon for a 5-yard touchdown run. The Ka'imi Fairbairn extra point try gave Houston a 19-0 lead with 7:00 left in the third.
Taylor used his legs earlier in the game to pick up a 7-yard touchdown. At that juncture in the second half, he'd also completed 13-of-17 passes for 101 yards and run another six times for 28 yards.
The Texans received the second-half kickoff and burned 7:26 off the game clock on a 13-play drive that went 40 yards, but Cam Johnston's punt bounced off Chester Rogers' leg at Tennessee's 5-yard line, and Tremon Smith recovered the fumble for Houston. Three plays later, Taylor was in the end zone.
It was the first time in Taylor's career he ran for multiple scores in a game.
The next time you can see the Texans at NRG Stadium will be on November 28 as they host the New York Jets in Week 12. Kickoff is set for noon CT. Click here for tickets.
