Victory Monday recaps thriller from Sunday | Daily Brew

For the fourth time in five Mondays, we're waking up after a Texans victory.

Houston is 4-1 and atop the AFC South as the only squad with a winning record. Aside from the 2012 Texans, who began that year 5-0, this is the best start in franchise history.

Yesterday we saw the H-Town uniforms look spectacular on the Good Guys, and kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn broke the club's all-time scoring record with a third quarter field goal. He drilled a 59-yarder as time expired to give the Texans a 23-20 victory over the Bills.

Good times, indeed, in Texans-Land.

Here's a little more on the wild finish to yesterday's game.

Team Analyst/Radio Sideline Reporter John Haris, as he always does, chronicled the game-changing moments in his "Big Play Breakdown".

The defense was excellent yesterday. They hit Josh Allen nine times, held him to a 30 percent completion percentage on the afternoon, and came up with some pivotal stops late.

Longtime NFL Columnist John McClain shared his thoughts on the team win, and the wild finish.

Voice of the Texans Marc Vandermeer called the action yesterday, and wrote about it afterwards in his Vanderblog.

Jonathan Alexander of the Houston Chronicle has his "5 Things We Learned" from yesterday's win.

One of the underrated best moments of the day came when Neville Hewitt went WWE on a punt return. Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2 wrote more about it.
