Victory Monday! Savoring the season-opening W | Daily Brew

That was a fun one.

The Texans went on the road, ran the ball 40 times for 213 yards, got some big plays through the air and limited Jonathan Taylor to just 48 yards on 16 carries in the 29-27 triumph.

Next up, the Chicago Bears at NRG Stadium on Sunday Night Football.

But let's revisit yesterday, and we'll start with Radio Sideline Reporter John Harris and his view of the victory. He broke down what he saw in his "Harris Hits".

Stefon Diggs caught a pair of touchdown passes yesterday in the game, and he also eclipsed the 10,000-yard mark for his career.

Longtime NFL Columnist John McClain wrote about Diggs and Joe Mixon, who erupted for 159 yards on 30 carries and a touchdown.

Harris also broke down some of the turning points in the game with this Big Play Breakdown.

Don't forget about wide receiver Nico Collins. He needed just six catches to rack up 117 yards. He had the longest catch of the day for Houston with his 55-yarder, and he had the clutch grab at the end to pick up 12 yards and a first down on 3rd-and-11.
