PRICE IS RIGHT WR Andre Johnson, HOU, 48 (@ STL) He's the most expensive wide receiver on the board, and he's still a steal. Johnson torched the Seahawks last weekend by catching a pair of touchdowns and accumulating nearly 200 yards receiving. Now he goes against a Rams' secondary that's lacking it's best player in injured safety Oshiomogho Atogwe. Do you trust cornerbacks Ronald Bartell and Quincy Butler to lock down the player that CBS' Gus Johnson nicknamed "Zeus"? I don't, either. Snap up Johnson and pencil him in for at least 20 fantasy points.
VALUE PICK QB Joe Flacco, BAL, 54 (vs. CHI) For just about half the price of Drew Brees, you get a quarterback playing at home against a struggling team that's even worse on the road, with a 1-5 record. Look for a steady diet of Flacco handing off to Ray Rice, and then picking his spots in the red zone against a suspect Bears defense.
NOT WORTH IT NO D/ST, 43 (vs. DAL) No thanks. Tony Romo and the Cowboys are playing for their lives on Saturday night at the Superdome, and I think Dallas actually hands the Saints their first loss of the season in a shootout. Don't waste all your points on the New Orleans Saints D.
SLEEPER SPECIAL QB Phillip Rivers, SD, 73 (vs. CIN) Wow. This doubles up as a "Value Pick" as well. He's thrown multiple touchdown passes in five of the last eight games (all Chargers wins, by the way) and is racking up the yardage as well. The hottest team in football returns home for a big game against the Bengals. Rivers is a smart, and economical, bet.
TEXANS FANTASY STARTER OF THE WEEK QB Matt Schaub, 76 (@ STL) You can also pick Johnson here, but Schaub's a safe bet as well since he's throwing the passes Dre's way. He's poised for a monster game against a banged-up St. Louis defense.
