In the Celebrity League, Carmine Pirone, aka "Crunch", took first place for the second time in five weeks with 95 points. In a low scoring fantasy week, Carmine's selection of Bears Kicker Robbie Gould and his 16 subsequent points not only illustrated his fantasy football prowess but his allegiance to fellow Nittany Lions. Joe Pa would be so proud! Holding down second and third place were two celebrities who are showing signs of the consistency necessary to compete in the marathon called the NFL football season: Bart Enis' "Mystery Men" (91 points) and Cheerleader Lindsey's "RahRahShishBoomBah" (86 points).
Marc Vandermeer's "VanderTeam" and Patti Smith's "FSNDiva" were neck and neck for last place with "The Voice" taking the honors 73-72. While Marc is still in fifth place overall with 440 points, clearly the "VanderBaby" got more attention than the "VanderTeam" this week.
In the quest for the Celebrity League Statue, Bart Enis' (Mystery Men) 500 points maintained pole position and left him with a slim margin over Carmine Pirone's (Crunch) 494 points. The Houston Texans Fantasy Football Celebrity League top three overall standings are:
