We hope you're having a great final day of 2024.

This day a year ago, the Texans were 8-7 and they faced the Titans at NRG Stadium in the next-to-last game of the regular season. Houston smoked Tennessee, 26-3, and then capped the regular season the next week with a victory at Indianapolis.

Now, the regular season concludes this Sunday with a roadie at Tennessee, and then the Texans will be back at NRG Stadium the following weekend for the Wild Card Playoff game.

Houston welcomed back linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair to practice yesterday. He'd missed the previous three games because of a suspension. Head Coach DeMeco Ryans was glad to have Al-Shaair back in the fold.

In addition to the defensive captain Al-Shaair practicing yesterday, so too, did wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Sam Warren of the Houston Chronicle has more.

Fans had some questions, so I answered a few of them in the mailbag here.

The Texans might get a look at TWO quarterbacks on Sunday. Titans Head Coach Brian Callahan said there's a chance both Will Levis and Mason Rudolph play for Tennessee in Week 18.

Finally, on our Texans YouTube channel in 2024, no video was viewed more than the one below.
