The Texans were back to work on the practice field yesterday, and they were wearing their Battle Red Helmets.
With the Sunday-nighter at NRG Stadium against the Lions on deck, the team welcomed back a few familiar faces who had missed some time. Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair and safety Jimmie Ward--both of whom are team captains--as well as defensive end Jerry Hughes and cornerback Jeff Okudah were on the field as limited participants. Offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson, who missed the last game with a concussion, also practiced yesterday and was a full participant.
KPRC-2's Aaron Wilson wrote about Al-Shaair's return, which comes just in time, as Detroit's backfield is a potent one.
