The Super Bowl was played just days ago, but people already are talking about which teams could pull an "Arizona" and surprise the league by going deep in the playoffs. What shouldn't come as a surprise is that the Texans are a part of that discussion.
SI.com's Ross Tucker thinks Houston has "enough firepower to go on an Arizona-like run." I talked to right tackle Eric Winston about following the Cardinals' lead, and he thinks the Texans are just a few players away from becoming a Super Bowl contender. Perhaps, they can find those (defensive) players in the draft.
The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Texans have hired a new athletic trainer, luring Geoff Kaplan away from the Titans. Houston hasn't released anything official, but stand by for more news.
Finally, ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky blogs that the Texans' primary draft needs are safety, defensive end and cornerback.
