Williams sack ends big first quarter for Texans

Defensive end Mario Williams gave Aaron Rodgers a pass on the first drive of the game, passing up a sure sack in the spirit of the Pro Bowl, but he didn't let Rodgers get away when he got another crack at himi. Williams sacked Rodgers for a three-yard loss on the last play of the first quarter, which was highlighted by plenty of big plays from each of the Texans' four Pro Bowlers.

Williams was the only defender with a sack in the first quarter. Linebacker DeMeco Ryans had an AFC-high three tackles, which all came on one drive. Wide receiver Andre Johnson had a game-high 64 receiving yards on two catches, including a 33-yard touchdown pass from Matt Schaub.

Schaub had the best quarter of them all, posting a perfect passer rating as he went 7-of-8 for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Will it be enough to win Schaub Pro Bowl MVP honors?
