Williams to Redskins at 4; first miss in our mock draft

As expected, Suh and McCoy went second and third, respectively. We got the first three picks right in our **HoustonTexans.com mock draft**, but not so much on No. 4.

We thought the Redskins might take Oklahoma State left tackle Russell Okung, but Mike Shanahan and company went with tackle Trent Williams of Oklahoma instead. That made Texans beat writer John McClain happy up here in the press box - it matched up with his mock draft in the Houston Chronicle. That also made it three Oklahoma Sooners in the top four of the draft. I wonder if any school has ever accomplished that feat before.

So the Redskins, whom the Texans face at Washington in Week 2 this season, now have their franchise left tackle to protect Donovan McNabb. That's going to be a much-improved team from the 4-12 Redskins of 2009.
