WR Jaelen Strong returns

Rookie wide receiver Jaelen Strong practiced on Tuesday for the team's first day of mandatory minicamp.

"Jaelen's got a long way to go, so it was good to see him out there today," head coach Bill O'Brien said after Tuesday's practice. "He's got a big stretch here in front of him where he can work on getting his hamstring better. It was a hamstring pull that he was missing with and get(ting) ready to go for training camp."

Strong, who tweaked his hamstring during the first day of OTAs, was not able to participate in team drills until Tuesday's practice.

Players will continue with mandatory minicamp practices on Wednesday and Thursday. The team will then have a six-week hiatus before the start of training camp on Aug. 1.
