📸 | 2021 Fan of the Year: Debbie the Texan

Debbie Chapa Brannon, known as Debbie the Texan, was selected by the Houston Texans to represent the team as their Fan of the Year for the 2021 season. Debbie joined 31 other fans from opposing teams at the Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles as part of her reward for her incredible fandom. We thank Debbie for her longstanding support of the team. Check out her experience in this photo gallery and enjoy reading her biography below.

Debbie has been a public school teacher for 27 years. In addition to teaching 3rd grade, she also devotes several nights a week to teaching GED classes to adults where she incorporates her love for Texans football in many of her learning activities. After a family tragedy in 2014, she decided to live her life to the fullest with the newfound outlook on never knowing when a day might be your last. Debbie took to the road and drove to every Texans game the following season, racking up over a whopping 26,000+ miles driving to every Texans game from preseason to postseason! She loves being a Season Ticket Member and has owned various PSL's throughout the NRG Stadium. Being a fan since day one, she has always believed the Texans will win a Super Bowl. She is prepared to stick by them in good times and in bad no matter what!
