📸 | 2022 Fan of the Year: Carlos Rodriguez

After receiving over 300 nominations, Carlos Rodriguez was selected by the Houston Texans to represent the team as our 2022 Fan of the Year. Carlos was once an Oiler Fanatic, then in 2002, the McNair family announced there was a football team returning to Houston and he immediately became a Texans fanatic. Since that moment, Carlos has been a proud Season Ticket Member and has never missed a game. He recounts his favorite Texans memory as our renowned first win against the Dallas Cowboys on September 8, and you can bet he was there! Carlos loves to cheer on our Texans from his seats in the 500 level, also known as Gridiron, TX along with his closest friends and family.

Bedtime Stories with TORO presented by Mattress Firm

The Houston Texans and Mattress Firm partnered to bring TORO's Bedtime Stories to kindergartners at KIPP Shine Prep in anticipation of Sleep Week. This event was focused on helping little sleepers learn the importance of a good nighttime routine to help them rest and grow, featuring a special reading of TORO's book, Made to be a Mascot, by Texans Legend Wade Smith with special help from the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.
