My Story: Saluting the SEALs

The Houston Texans and Coca-Cola honored five leaders making a difference across Greater Houston during the 2026 BOLD Awards at Texans Training Camp.

In support of our Salute to Service initiative. The Houston Texans welcomed the second class of military service members and veterans participating in the Gridiron Heroes Officiating Program, supported by American National Insurance. This groundbreaking initiative provides veterans with the opportunity to reintegrate into their communities through sports officiating, fostering a sense of purpose and connection.

The Houston Texans visited Lantrip Elementary School to celebrate Whataburger's Hunger Action Month Campaign benefiting the Houston Food Bank. The program, now in its 11th year, raised $130,915 this year, bringing the grand total to more than $1.4 million since its inception. Texans LB, Azeez Al-Shaair spoke with the students about the importance of nutrition before spending time playing games with them.

Behind-the-scenes at the 2025 edition of Taste of the Texans presented by Coca-Cola. Fans sampled some of the best food in Houston and hung out with Texans Rookies, Legends, Cheerleaders, and, of course, TORO.

At At J P Henderson Elementary School in Magnolia Park, the Texans launched Reading With The Pros presented by Kroger. Throughout the year, Texans players, TORO, Legends, and HTC will visit second grade classrooms and help children work on and fall in love with reading.
