After a two-year hiatus, Urban Campout, an all-adult fundraiser, is returning in full swing:
- Date: April 14, 2005.
- Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
- Place: Houston Texans Practice Bubble, Reliant Park.
Since Urban Campout's inception in 1991, over 50,000 girls have benefited from the more than $2 million raised through the event. This year's Honoree is Janice McNair, a past troop leader and a strong advocate for girls. Deon Brown and Betsy Kamin will serve as Honorary Chairs. Honorary Co-Chairs are Barbara and Larry Catuzzi, Dorothy Goodykoontz, and Minerva Perez.
Campout cuisine includes traditional s'mores. Some of the activities include:
- Campfire sing-a-long.
- Competitive sports activities in the Texans Bubble.
- Live auction and a chance to fulfill camp and community outreach program wishes.
Reservations
Register online for Urban Campout 2005. Purchase your reservations by Friday, April 8, 2005. Reservations cost $125.00 per person.
Donors at the $5,000 level will have the opportunity to be recognized at one
of several planned activities. Other sponsorship levels are available for individuals and corporations. To learn more about sponsorship
