A lot happened Sunday at the first day of Texans training camp.
Brock Osweiler debuted in front of fans.
J.J. Watt was on the practice field, but not taking part in drills.
Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was back with the team in the afternoon after missing out on the morning practice.
Lost in the hubub was left tackle Duane Brown, who was in workout clothes watching his teammates go through their first camp practice together.
The Pro Bowler injured his quadriceps in the final regular season game of 2015 and is on the comeback trail. Head coach Bill O'Brien gave an update on the 9th-year pro.
"He's doing well," O'Brien said. "He's progressing. He's in there every day working hard to get back. None of these guys - they will be back when they are ready to be back, when the doctors clear him, when the trainers clear him. Duane is working very hard to be back."
The head coach didn't specify exactly when Brown will return, but stressed that the Texans "aren't going to rush anybody back" from injury.
The team will practice again on Monday morning at the Houston Methodist Training Center.
