The 2014 NFL Draft kicks off two weeks from tomorrow night.
With 11 selections, including the first overall, the Texans look to reload for the coming season and beyond. The top prospects have been discussed--in exhaustive fashion at times--since the regular season ended.
Therefore, we won't talk Jadeveon Clowney, Johnny Manziel or any of the other current Draft hopefuls
in this article. Instead, we'll look back at the players chosen in each of the spots over the last five years. For example, we'll list every player taken with the first pick from 2009 to 2013. And every player taken with the 33rd pick in that same timespan.
To recap, the Texans own the picks below:
1st (Round 1)
33rd (Rd 2)
65th (Rd 3)
101st (Rd 4)
135th (Rd 4-Compensatory)
141st (Rd 5)
177th (Rd 6)
181st (Rd 6-from Oakland)
211th (Rd 6-Compensatory)
216th (Rd 7)
