An NFL football field is 120 yards long, 100 yards of playing field with two
ten yard end zones and just over 53 yards wide. The field is marked with paint
in order to display important features including: yard-line markers, hashmarks,
sidelines, goal lines and endlines. There are distinct areas beyond the sidelines
that are designated for players and coaches benches as well as a separate area
for photographers and other members of the media.
