Joe Mixon and the Texans offense pummeled the Chiefs to start the third quarter.
Trailing 13-6 at the intermission, Houston took the ball 82 yards on 15 plays, and burned 10:24 off the game clock.
It culminated with a 13-yard scoring run to the right side, as Mixon scooted into the end zone. The extra point try was wide right, and the Texans trailed, 13-12, with 4:36 left in the third quarter.
Mixon carried the ball six times for 38 yards on the drive, and also caught a pass for a completion of six yards.
