Johnson named to Miami High Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, who has been selected to the Miami High School Hall of Fame. Johnson headlines an eight-member class that will be formally inducted during a ceremony at the school on Saturday, April 10.

Johnson, a two-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler, was a *Parade *All-American receiver while at Miami High. He caught 31 passes for 908 yards and 15 touchdowns during his senior season for the Stingarees. Johnson also lettered in track and basketball before graduating in 1999, then went on to a standout football career at the University of Miami.

For any Johnson superfans out there or for any readers who live in the Miami area, the induction festivities will take place at the Miami High Auditorium. There will be a dinner preceding the induction that starts at 5 p.m. Individual dinner seats are available for $35, and tables for 10 guests are $300.
