Dear Houston Texans Supporter:

It has been a great start to the 2010 season for your Houston Texans both on and off the field. Our team is 4-2, our television ratings are up almost 50% vs. 2009 and at the end of the year, our home sell-out streak will be at a Houston-record nine-straight seasons. We are so very thankful for the outstanding support that we receive from our hometown and our 2009-2010 Community Impact Report outlines many unique ways our organization makes a difference for Houston.

We are proud to represent Houston in the National Football League, and our presence brings many important benefits to our community. It is projected that our team delivers an economic impact of $250mm per year and generates thousands of local jobs. Our games bring people together like nothing else, and while we are known for the excitement our games bring our fans each Sunday, our impact can be felt in Houston every day of the year.

One of our primary objectives is to become the most community-connected sports franchise in the world. Over the past decade, we have directly contributed over $4 mm to support our Champions for Youth initiatives across Houston. These projects include the Houston Texans YMCA, a first class facility with community programming to support families in Houston's Third Ward. We also support the Boys and Girls Clubs through fitness and character building initiatives, like Passport to Manhood *andSmart Girls*. The Houston Food Bank is our newest partner and together we are fighting the hunger crisis in our community so our children will receive the nutrition required for proper adolescent development. We have a responsibility to demonstrate leadership within our community, and we are working diligently to make an impact in the lives of Houstonians that need us most.

Please click HERE to find a copy of our 2009-2010 Community Impact Report. This report details many of the initiatives we support in the Greater Houston area. I encourage you to take a few minutes to review some of the ways our players, cheerleaders, coaches and staff are making a difference for Houston. If you have any questions regarding this report, or our community outreach initiatives in general, please let us know. As you will see, we are working hard throughout the year to serve the community that supports us so well each season.

Thank you again for your support and Go Texans!
