2020 has been a tough year.
The Texans wanted to bring a little Thanksgiving pick-me-up to folks in the Houston area, and launched a campaign called the 'Texans Care for Texans' presented by Kroger.
The goal was to feed over 500,000 families this Thanksgiving through the Houston Food Bank. Many are facing food insecurity during these challenging times, making this year's campaign especially important.
Every dollar donated can be turned into the three meals.
Reliant, Chevron, Amegy Bank and the Houston Area Ford Dealers also chipped in at the highest donation levels, and folks throughout the area donated generously as well.
Earlier this week, the 500,000 milestone was met, but the Texans are still encouraging donations to the Houston Food Bank.
