HOUSTON **– This week's Houston Texans 5A Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach John Outlaw of Lufkin High School.  Coach Outlaw's Panthers (9-0) kept their undefeated season going with a 42-17 win over The Woodlands.  Lufkin's defense contributed three touchdowns in the win, including two on interceptions and one on a fumble.

This week's Houston Texans 4A-under Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Eddie Snow of Worthing High School. Coach Snow's Colts (6-2) scored 16 fourth quarter points to down Westbury 24-19 and claim sole possession of first place in District 22-4A. Worthing took the lead when quarterback Marquell Speed hit wide receiver Tyron Carrier for a 65-yard score with 42 seconds left in the game, marking the third time Speed and Carrier connected for touchdowns. Lufkin High School and Worthing High School will each receive a $500 grant in their coach's name for winning the Texans Coach of the Week Award.  Also, each coach will be recognized by Texans Head Coach Dom Capers in his press conference, on HoustonTexans.com and NFLHS.com, and on the video board at Reliant Stadium.  Coach Outlaw and Coach Snow will also be invited to the Texans vs. Rams game on November 27 and the Texans High School Coach of the Week Banquet on January 19 at Churrasco's.  Fox Sports Net Houston is an associate sponsor of the Texans Coach of the Week Program.
