Texans H.S. Coach of the Week

HOUSTON– This week's Houston Texans 5A Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Ed Pustejovsky of Cy-Fair High School. Coach Pustejovsky's Bobcats improved to 3-0 with a 17-7 victory over Cypress Falls. Rangers' running back Philip Goldsmith finished the game with 102 yards on 18 carries, including a 64-yard touchdown run.

This week's Houston Texans 4A-under Coach of the Week Award goes to Head Coach Marshall White of Forest Brook High School. Coach White's Jaguars broke open a fourth quarter tie en route to a 40-26 win over Yates. Forest Brook wide receiver Cornelius Brown opened the game with a 34-yard touchdown reception and concluded the Jaguars' scoring with a seven-yard touchdown run.

Cy-Fair High School and Forest Brook High School will each receive a $500 grant in their coach's name for winning the Texans Coach of the Week Award. Also, each coach will be recognized by Texans Head Coach Dom Capers on his radio show, on HoustonTexans.com and NFLHS.com, on the video board at Reliant Stadium. Coach Pustejovsky and Coach White will also be invited to the Texans vs. Rams game on November 27 and the Texans High School Coach of the Week Banquet in January.
