Got a question about the Texans?
Life in general?
Drew Dougherty's your guy.
He's been with the Texans since 2009 and is chock full of meaningful, as well as generally useless, information. Fire away by clicking
HERE.

Mark Baughman: Dear Drew, What's the biggest challenge the Buffalo Bills pose this coming Sunday?
DD: Hi Mark. Great to hear from you. The simplest answer is usually the right one: Josh Allen. The Buffalo quarterback is one of the best in the game, and Sunday night aside, he's been excellent in 2024.

He's experienced, tough, has a Howitzer for an arm, and can hurt you with his legs.

This year, Allen's completed almost 70 percent of his passes, has thrown seven touchdowns and zero interceptions, with a lofty 116.5 passer rating.

He'll be a mighty challenge for any defense, including the Texans.

Head Coach DeMeco Ryans pointed to the Bills' ability to play complementary football as a major strength, but if you want a more specific answer, I'll go with Allen as the main challenge.

***Mark, your question was a good one, and it won you Texas Lottery Scratchoff tickets. Someone from the Texans organization will soon contact you about this. CONGRATS!***

Kaleb Hernandez: Dear Drew, when will Texans play Dameon Pierce?
Tyrone Robinson: When Will Tank Dell be back on the field?
DD: Kaleb, Tyrone, we'll see on both. After not practicing all last week, Pierce was ruled out of Sunday's game on Friday because of a hamstring injury. Dell, meanwhile, was also ruled out Friday, but with a chest injury.

In yesterday's press conference, Ryans said both those players will be "day-to-day this week" and that the Texans would "see how they progress throughout the week of practice."

Ray Bell: Dear Drew, Why can't the offense stop being penalized so much?
DD: Many of you asked a question along the lines of Ray's about penalties this week, so I chose his. Ryans said Sunday he "can't stand" the amount of mental penalties the Texans are committing this season.

"We have to play smart," Ryans said. "If we want to be a good football team, we have to play the game smart. We look at other teams around the league and we have meetings on these things, and guys just have to own up to it and be man enough to stand up and just play the game the right way. A lot of them are just bonehead penalties that are uncalled for, right? You don't need those."

They'll certainly work on it this week in practice, and we'll see how it all works out on Sunday at noon.

Miykal Carrington: Dear Drew, It's my birthday and I will be at the Bills game and doing the Sideline experience that game. Can you please give me a 50th birthday shoutout? For short my friends call me Sky and I am Fabulous at 50 and still in the game.
DD: Shoutout to Sky! Happy Birthday, and I'm sure 50 is indeed fabulous for you. Please come say hello on the sideline this Sunday and have an awesome time at the game.

Ryan Porter: Dear Drew, Will we shut the city down for a day when we win the Super Bowl this year?
DD: That would be cool, Ryan, but let's just focus on beating the Bills for now!
