TORO's Math Drills presented by ConocoPhillips reaches 1 million students impacted

TORO has entertained millions on gamedays for two decades and counting.

Now, he's helped over a million students improve their math skills.

The Houston Texans and ConocoPhillips have partnered together the last seven years for TORO's Math Drills, an educational video series designed to challenge 3rd and 4th grade students. This spring, the 1-millionth student was impacted through the program.

In a series of 12 total videos, the loveable Texans mascot has helped kids learn in a fun, interactive and engaging manner about Angles, Data Analysis, Algebraic Reasoning, Volume, Mult-step Operations, Financial Literacy, Place Values, Fractions, Money, Multiplication and Division, Shapes and Perimeter and Area. These FREE videos feature TORO, former Houston Texans players, Houston Texans Cheerleaders in helping students solve problems and make math more relatable to younger fans

The Texans and ConocoPhillips launched the program in the autumn of 2017, and the lessons were developed in collaboration with the United Way of Greater Houston to align with TEKS assessments.

In all, students in more than 20 states have participated, with upwards of 170 school districts and over 600 unique schools.
