Make a Wish: Meet Max

In celebration of the Texans advancing to the Divisional Round of the 2025 NFL Playoffs, the team hosted a special Texans Friday Playoff Pep Rally for the students and staff at Jack Yates High School. The pep rally was hosted by Texans' influencer Kiotti, featured multiple giveaways, and included appearances from TORO, the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and Texans Legends.

The Houston Texans celebrated exceptional educators through the Texans Touchdown Teacher Initiative, a 24-hour campaign inviting fans to nominate teachers who exemplify excellence in and out of the classroom. This year's winner, Mrs. Okoli, a 4th grade math teacher at KIPP Shine Prep, was honored in a heartwarming surprise with her entire fourth-grade class.

Houston Texans Legends, TORO, and HTC joined the faculty and staff of Walt Disney Elementary to welcome students back to school after their campus was damaged after the holiday tornadoes in Brazoria County. Walt Disney Elementary School, is one of our valued Flag in Schools campuses.

This season, the Houston Texans partnered with the Wade Smith Foundation and HISD for Reading with the Pros. As part of the program, campuses participated in a reading competition. The students at Mading Elementary won the competition reading over 150 books, earning them the grand prize of a custom Houston Texans "Reading Corner" in their school library!

On December 10th, Jon Weeks and Jalen Pitre, in partnership with American National Insurance, took a tour off of the Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base to show their appreciation for our Military members here in H-Town

Texans DT Mario Edwards Jr. and RB J.J. Taylor visited veterans at a local hospital and provided veterans with Salute to Service treats and Texans rally towels. As part of the visit, they surprised Veteran, Clarence Washington, with Salute to Service and First Responders game tickets courtesy of VetTix.

On Wednesday, November 20, the Houston Texans proudly welcomed the inaugural class of military service members and veterans participating in the Gridiron Heroes Officiating Program, supported by American National Insurance. This groundbreaking initiative provides veterans with the opportunity to reintegrate into their communities through sports officiating, fostering a sense of purpose and connection.

Taste of the Texans presented by Coca-Cola benefitting the Houston Texans Foundation and the Houston Food Bank, featured food from more than 25 of Houston's top restaurants. Guests sampled each restaurant while raising funds to fight hunger in the community alongside players, legends and more.

In honor of Founder's Day, the Houston Texans selected Stephen F. Austin High School's football program to award a $20,000 grant in support of programmatic and equipment needs through the team's new Grow the Game initiative. Each year, the Houston Texans Foundation will award a grant to one football program in H-Town, providing resources to help reduce barriers facing underserved programs.
