A C.J. Stroud-to-Dalton Schultz 22-yard touchdown pass pushed the Texans lead to 23-16 early in the fourth quarter at Jacksonville.
It was the first scoring grab of the season for Schultz, and his fifth reception of the afternoon. At that point, he had 61 receiving yards.
The Schultz touchdown catch was the fifth play of a 55-yard drive that burned just 1:46 off the play clock.
For Stroud, it was his 15th touchdown pass of 2024.
The possession began on Houston's 45-yard line , and Stroud connected with Tank Dell on a 23-yard completion to the right side. Joe Mixon broke off a 10-yard run to the left sideline on the next snap, and two plays later he and Schultz linked up the score.
